Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 41 players, play a Single Stableford competition. The winner was D Forsyth ocb from runner up A Swift with 36 pts. The ball run down went to B May, C Petrohilos & K Rhodes 35 pts, followed by B Sampson & W Hill 34 pts and M Gray & J Yates 33 pts. Pin shots were received by M Gray, D Gittins, C Petrohilos & J Browning, while D Macrae & C VanDaalen received the ladies. Monday the 7/8/23 will be a single stableford competition.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies were sponsored by Laraine Gurnett playing a stableford competition. The winner was K Cook with 41 pts, runner up was H Roebig ocb from L Edwards with 37 pts. The ball run down continued with J Edwards with 36 pts. H Roebig & L Edwards won the pin shots. This week will be sponsored by Scenic Rim Trophies playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. Next week will be sponsored by Anna Hair & Beauty playing a stableford competition. This will be round 6 of the Consistency Cup.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters had 35 players, play a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition, sponsored by Gary Searle. The winner was J Handley with 30 pts, runner up was B Lawrance ocb from T Roebig with 29 pts. The ball run down continued with R Eacott 28 pts, G Eviston, W Lovett & W Wieland 27 pts, followed by R Fitzgerald & M O’Reilly 26 pts, R Maudsley, L Blunt, D Forsyth, J Gurney & M Gray 25 pts and N Hooke, A Stick & C Farnan with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by N Hooke on 13, J Gurney received 17 while J McGrath received 18. The Dugandan Dice winner was D Beazley. The Mens Winner was Tim Gnech with 63 net, runner up was G Parker with 65 net. The Ladies winner was Z Eviston with 69 net, runner up was A Leary with 71 net ocb. The ball run down went to C Wheeler 67 net, B Lynch & P King 69 net, followed by R Bodey, H Roebig, K Turner & S Reid 71 net, B Sampson, R Eacott & K Wilson 72 net and M Titcomb, J Leisemann, C Jorgensen, S McKenzie & S Francis 73 net. Pin shots were received by W Hilll & J Wilson on 4/13, G Benstead & S McKenzie recieved 8/17 while G Eviston & J Wilson received 9/18. Sunday:
Today we played the Mixed Foursome Championships for 2023. The winners were B Beasley & D Wall in a playoff against P McNiven & S McKenzie as they both came in with 125 off the stick. The net winners were also a tie with B Beasley & D Wall and B May & E Meagher with 109¼, runners up were P McNiven & S McKenzie with 110 net. This Sunday we have a 9 hole, 4BBB stableford/medley teeing off at 1.30. You can book online or ring the club to book your round or for any further details. Social play will be available.
