Golf Notes 29/4/24 – 5/5/24
Veterans:
The Veterans had 32 players playing a 4BBB stableford competition. The winners were W Lovett & D Stanfield with 46 pts, runners up were W Maudsley & K Turner with 43 pts. The ball run down went to N Halls & C Petroholis 42 pts, G Clark & W Hill, J & D Gurney, T Henderson & D Forsyth and D Beazley & T Russell 41 pts, followed by R Lawrie & M Gnech with 40 pts. Pin shots were received by W Maudsley, D Beazley & D Bass while K Turner & D Wall received the ladies. The Members Draw jackpotted. Next week will be a single stableford competition.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies had 6 players play a single stroke/monthly medal competition, and 5 ladies play a front 9 hole stableford competition. The winner was T Reid Pocock ocb from runner up V Tippett with 76 net while J Baulch won the 9 hole competition. The pin shot was received by T Reid Pocock. This week will be a single stableford competition for the 3rd round of the Consistency Cup.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by B Lawrance & B Beasley playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was P Schwarz with 26 pts, runner up was R Freeman ocb from D Chandler & D Stanfield with 25 pts. The run down continued with D Beazley, M Wyvill & S Lutter with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by B Beasley on 4, G Benstead received 8 while S Fahey received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was L Blunt with 4 Aces in a toss off.
