Golf Notes 27/11/12 – 3/12/23

Veterans:

Monday the Veterans had 40 players, play a single Stableford competition.   The winner was J Browning with 43 pts (this was a 68 off the stick for Jeff), runner up was B Sampson ocb from T Norris with 39 pts.  The ball run down continued with D Beazley 38 pts, followed by P Peck, W Lovett & R Humphrey 37 pts and M Sim & R Freeman 36 pts.  Pinshots were received by T Norris, J Browning & W Maudsley while L Edwards & K Turner received the ladies.  The Encouragement Award went to K Cook.  Next week will be a Single Stableford competition with Christmas lunch to follow completion of play.

Ladies:

The Ladies completed their year with a Christmas Lunch & Prize Allocation for the year.

Sporters:

Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by B Brown playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.  The winner was R Cuneo ocb from runner up R Scells with 24 pts.  The NAGA award was received by T Russell.  Pin shots were received by B Beasley on 13, while A Skinner received both 17 & 18.  The Dugandan Dice winner was G Hunt with 5 Aces.  This week will be sponsored by G Hunt & T Russell playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.  This will be the Xmas Break Up.  Next week will be a stableford 10 – 18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition for a club trophy.

Saturday:   

Saturday was sponsored by G & Z Eviston, W Gnech & B Sampson playing a single stroke competition. The Overall winner was J West with 65 net.  The Mens winner was C Jorgensen with 66 net, runner up was D Tomlinson with 68 net followed by G Parker & R Higgs with 69 net.  The Ladies winner was S Grace with 68 net, runner up was K Turner with 75 net.  The rundown went to C Bell 70 net, W Martin 71 net, followed by B May, A Parker& C Farnan 72 net and M Wyvill, I Pocock, D Gittins & T Roebig with 73 net.   Pin shots were received by C Bell & Z Eviston on 4/13, D Smith & B Dover received 8/17, while S Lutter & S Grace received 9//18.  The Medal of Medals winners for 2023 are K Sawtell & S Grace.  Congratulations.  This week will be sponsored by Peak Pool Performance playing a single stableford competition.  This will be the Monthly Mug playoff.  Next week will be a 2 Ball Ambrose competition, for club trophies.

This week we have a social club using all of the buggies. Social play will be available to after they have completed their round.
