Golf Notes 13/5/24 – 19/5/24
Veterans:
The Veterans had 22 players, playing a single stableford competition. The winner was K Turner with 39 pts, runner up was W Maudsley with 36 pts. The ball run down went D Wall & W Hill 33 pts followed by K Rhodes & D Forsyth 32 pts and P Dautzenberg & D Bass 31 pts. Pin shots were received by D Bass, W Maudsley & J Trovatello while K Turner & D Wall received the ladies. The Members Draw jackpotted. Next week will be a single stroke competition. Don’t forget the Beaudesert Open Day on the 27th May.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies had 8 players play a 2 ball Ambrose competition, sponsored by B Dover. The winners were V Tippett & T Reid Pocock with 72 net, runners up were S Grace & L Reinholdsson with 76.5 net. Pin shots were received by D Marshall & V Tippett. This week will be a single stableford competition, sponsored by Anna’s Hair & Beauty.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by Boonah Tyre Service playing a single stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was L Blunt with 41 net, runner up was R Stinson with 46 net ocb. The run down went to G Parker 46 net, D Beazley 47 net, followed by P Schwarz, R Maudsley, S Lutter & P Eggenhuizen 48 net and M Weber with 49 net. Pin shots were received by L Blunt on 4, G Parker received 8 while S Fahey received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was W Lovett with 5 Queens. Saturday:

The winner & monthly medal winner was R Higgs with 69 net, runner up was S Fahey ocb from C Bell with 70 net, followed by M Titcomb 71 net, P Schwarz & S Bennett 72 net, J McGrath & I Pocock with 73 net. The Ladies Monthly Medal winner was J Pfingst. The rundown went to W Gnech, C Jorgensen, D Beazley & J Pfingst 74 net, followed by L Blunt, N Dean, M Herrington & C Gatehouse with 75 net. Pin shots were received by J McGrath & A Leary on 4/13, P Schwarz & S Reid received 8/17 while P Gerhardt received 9/18.
