Golf Notes 12/9/22 – 18/9/22
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 26 players play a stableford competition. The winner was B May with 40 pts, runner up was A Stick with 37 pts. The rundown went to J Gurney & G Floyd 36 pts, D Forsyth, G Philp & T Roebig 35 pts, followed by G Parker & M Gray 34 pts and R Lawrie, E Meagher & A Lane with 33 pts. Pin shots were received by G Parker & B May while E Meagher received the ladies. The Encouragement Award went to R Humphrey while the members draw jackpotted. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Wednesday:
Wednesday the ladies played a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by Anna’s Hair & Beauty. The winner was H Roebig with 35 pts, runner up S Grace with 34 pts. A Tomlinson received a ball in the run down. The pin shot was received by K Cook. The Accurate Drive was won by S Grace. This week will be a 4BBB stableford competition and will be sponsored by L Reinholdsson.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by J Handley, playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was T Henderson ocb from runner up J Surawski with 27 pts. The rundown went to G Searle 26 pts, G Eviston & W Maudsley 25 pts followed by M Gray, G Parker, S Fahey & D Forsyth with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by B Lawrance on 13, while W Maudsley received both 17 & 18. The Dugandan Dice winner was G Yeomans in a toss off. This week will be sponsored by Boonah Eyecare playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored B & J Gnech playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 + 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played the Glen Sippel Memorial playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. The winner was T Alchin with 40 pts, runner up was N Toohey ocb from W Gnech & S Bailey with 39 pts. The Ladies winner was J Wilson with 39 pts, runner up was A Leary with 38 pts. The ball run down went to S Francis 38 pts, M Gnech, B Lawrance & R Burnett 37 pts, G Parker & C Shannon 36 pts, followed by M Wyvill, P Gerhardt, G Martin, G Eviston, W Martin, S Grace & S Reid with 35 pts. Pin shots were received by B Lawrance & S Reid on 4/13, R Burnett & K Turner received 8/17 while M Wyvill received 9/18. This week will be the Fassifern Bushrangers Open Day playing a single stableford competition. This will be a 12.30 shot gun start. Next week will be sponsored by Bendigo Bank playing a single stroke/monthly medal competiton. This will be the final round of the Bi Rite Challenge.
Sunday:
Sunday we have 2 social clubs using all of the buggies. Some buggies will be available after 10 o’clock. Social play will be available. Please ring the club to make a booking or for any further details. Or you can book on line through our website.
