Golf Notes 24/10/22 – 30/10/22

Veterans:

No Vets last week due to the rain.  Next week will be a single stableford competition.

Ladies:

This week will be the Annette Geiger Memorial, playing a stableford competition.   Next week will be a 9 hole Bring a Friend Day.

Sporters:

Wednesday the Sporters played a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition, kindly sponsored by Boonah Mitre 10 Hardware.  The winner was G Eviston with 25 pts, runner up was G Searle with 24 pts.  The rundown went to W Maudsley & W Hall with 23 pts.  Pin shots were received by T Russell on 13, A Skinner received 17 while W Wieland received 18.  The Dugandan Dice winner was W Wieland with 5 Kings.   This week will be sponsored by K Rhodes playing a staleford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored by M Crowther playing a single stroke + Putts 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. 

Saturday:   

Saturday was sponsored by the Boonah Veterans playing a stableford competition.  The winner was L Blunt with 41 pts, runner up B Philp ocb from B Lynch with 39 pts.  The Ladies winner was A Leary with 39 pts, runner up was A Tomlinson with 36 pts.  The ball run down went to C Bell 38 pts, B Gotke, R Humphrey & G Eviston 37 pts 37 pts, T Alchin 36 pts, followed by G Martin, A Heit, P King, S Francis & S Bailey 35 pts and B Beasley, P McNiven, J Browning, G Parker, H Roebig & M Dickson with 34 pts.  Pin Shots were received by S Edwards & A Leary on 4/13, S Lutter & A Tomlinson received 8/17 while P King received 9/18.  This week will be sponsored by The Butcher Co playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition.  Next week will be sponsored by FIS Insurance playing a 4 Ball Ambrose competition.
