Golf Notes 31/10/22 – 6/11/22
Veterans:
Monday the Vets had 35 players play a stableford competititon. The winner was R Stinson with 45 pts, runner up N Halls with 40 pts. The run down went to G Hunt & G Philp 39 pts, C Petroholis 37 pts L Blunt, G Parker & A Swift 36 pts followed by R Humphrey 35 pts and S Dennis, A McNeill, G Floyd, D Dann & T Norris with 34 pts. The pin shots were received by M Gray, G Hunt & J Browning while K Cook received by ladies. The Encouragement Award was won by R Holland & K Cook. The Members Draw was won by R Holland. Next week will be a single stroke competition. Monday the 21st is the Scenic Rim Day @ Boonah.
Ladies:
Wednesday the ladies played the Annette Geiger Memorial, kindly sponsored by Elite Meats, playing a stableford competition. The winner was A Tomlinson ocb from runner up S Grace wit 32 pts. A Tomlinson won the pin shot on 17 as well as the Accurate Drive. This week will be a 9 hole Bring a Friend Day. Next week will be a 2 ball Ambrose competition, sponsored by S Grace.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by K Rhodes playing a staleford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was G Hunt with 27 pts, runner up was J Browning with 25 pts. The rundown went to K Rhodes & L Blunt with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by R Cuneo on 4, R Stinson received 8 while J Browning received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was W Wieland with 5 Aces. This week will be sponsored by M Crowther playing a single stroke + Putts 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by Dover & Sons playing the 1st round of their Championships, playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
