Golf Notes 17/4/23 – 23/4/23
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans played a stroke competition. The winner was J Gurney with 69 net, runner up C Petroholis with 71 net. The ball run down went to T Roebig 72 net, W Lovatt 74 net, followed by G Philp 75 net and D Dann, E O’Farrell, T Norris & D Wall 76 net and W Hill 77 net. Pin shots were received by D Dann, J Gurney & K Rhodes while K Turner received the ladies. The membership draw was won by G Philp, while K Chivers received the Encouragement Award. Next Monday the 1st May will be a single stableford competition
Ladies:
This week was sponsored by The Australian Hotel playing a stableford competition. The winner was H Roebig with 35 pts, runner up was D Marshall with 32 pts. This week will be sponsored by Rockalicious playing a Bogey competition. The Beryl Drady Match Play nominations are now open and will close on the 26th April. Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by M Weber from Peak Pool Performance playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was T Henderson with 28 pts, runner up was A Stick with 27 pts, followed by T Roebig ocb from M Wyvill & L Blunt with 26 pts. Pin shots were received by A Stick on 13. M Wyvill received 17 while S Fahey received 18. The Dugandan Dice winner was A Stick with 5 Aces. This week the Sporters will be sponsored by A Lutter from J R Plant Hire playing a 2 Ball Ambrose competition. Next week will be sponsored by B Lawrance & B Beasley playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by Brad & Alba playing a stableford competition. The winner was K Wilson with 41 pts, runner up was B May ocb with 38 pts. The ladies winner was S Reid with 39 pts, runner up Z Eviston with 35 pts. The ball run down went to M Titcomb 38 pts, B Sampson 37 pts followed by K Milligan, T Reid Pocock, J Jorgenson, A Leary & R Humphrey 36 pts followed by A Hertweck, T Roebig, G Yeomans & C Perrem 35 pts and S Fahey, J Miles, C Wilson & B Philp with 34 pts. Pin shots were received by T Roebig & A Leary on 4/13, K Wilson & S Reid received 8/17 while J Gurney & A Leary received 9/18. This week will be the Beasley Bash playing a single stroke competition. This will be a 12.30 shot gun start. The next week will be sponsored by Boonah Tyre Power playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. This will be the next round of the Bi Rite Challenge
