Golf Notes 10/7/23 – 16/7/23
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 34 players play a Single Stroke competition, for the first round of their Championships. The winner was T Henderson ocb from runner up K Cook with 66 net. The ball run down went to T Roebig 73 net, C Petrolilos & M Cufi 74 net followed by A Swift, B Sampson, B May & A Brown 75 net. Pin shots were received by W Maudsley, G Sharp & N Halls while A Brown received the ladies. S Buchholz received the Encouragement Award, while the membership draw jackpotted. Monday the 24th will be a single stableford competition.
Ladies:
Last week was sponsored by Annas Hair & Beauty playing a single stableford competition. The winner was B Dover with 33 pts, runner up was L Reinholdsson with 32 pts ocb. T Reid Pocock won the pin shot on 8/17. This week will be sponsored by L Reinholdsson playing a 2 ball ambrose competition.
