Golf Notes 9/1/23 – 15/1/23
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 50 players play a stableford competition. The winner was P Peck with 39 pts, runner up was K Rhodes ocb from G Sharpe with 36 pts. The ladies winner was D Wall with 35 pts, runner up was K Turner with 31 pts. The ball run down continued with K Sawtell, W Hill, T Roebig & D Forsyth with 35 pts, followed by M Panzram 34 pts and B May, R Burnett, L Vandenbrink & W Hall with 33 pts. Pin shots were received by J Browning, G Sharpe, G Floyd while the A Brown & K Turner received by ladies. The Encouragement Award was received by K Eugarde. Next week the Veterans will play a stroke competition.
Ladies:
The Ladies are playing their Summer competition and will go through to the 31st January, 2023.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters played the John Maynard Memorial sponsored by the Maynard Family, playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was G Eviston ocb from runner up G Benstead with 45 net. The ball run down went to N Hooke with 47 net, followed by T Henderson, R Lawrie & K Rhodes with 48 net and G Parker & J Miles with 49 net. Pin shots were received by W Hall on 13 while G Benstead received 17. The Dugandan Dice winner was K Rhodes with 4 Aces. This week the sporters will play the John Allen Memorial playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition, sponsored by R Scells. Next week the Sporters will play a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition, kindly sponsored by L Vandenbrink.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by BP Boonah playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. The A Grade winner was M Wyvill ocb from runner up K Milligan with 71 net. The B Grade winner & monthly medal winner was K Sawtell with 64 net, runner up was G Eviston with 65 net. C Grade winner was M Dickson with 67 net, runner up was M Weber with 73 net. The Ladies winner was A Leary with 68 net, runner up was N Stanfield with 71 net. The ball run down went to T Gnech & G Philp 69 net, A Lutter, W Hill & L Blunt 70 net, followed by C Wilson 71 net, J Pfingst, R Philp & P McNiven 72 net and G Parker & G Martin with 73 net. Pin Shots were received by R Philp & D Wall on 4/13, R Higgs & A Leary received 8/17 while G Eviston received 9/18. This week will be sponsored by the Girls playing a stableford/monthly mug competition. Next week will be sponsored by CF & JE Miles playing a stableford competition.

Sunday we have a small Social club teeing off at 7 am. Social play will be available. Ring the club to make a booking or you can go online and book your round.
