Golf Notes 27/3/23 – 2/4/23
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 31 players play a stableford competition. The winner was G Sharpe with 40 pts, runner up was R Humphrey with 36 pts. The ball run down went to W Lovett, K Rhodes, R Lawrie, D Mortimer, E Meagher & T Norris 34 pts followed by G Philp, T Roebig, G Parker & M Gray with 33 pts. Pin shots were received by G Sharpe & G Hunt while D Wall received the ladies. The Encouragement Award was received by M Sullivan while the membership draw jackpotted. Next Monday will be a stableford competition
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies were cancelled due to the rain. This week will be sponsored by Scenic Rim trophies playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. Next week will be sponsored by Anna’s Hair & Beauty playing a single stableford competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were also cancelled due to the rain. This week the Sporters will be sponsored by Far Outdoors Boonah playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week the Sporters will be sponsored by W Wieland & A Stick playing a 4BBB stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by Boonah Mitre 10 playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. The winner was K Milligan ocb from runner up B Beasley also ocb from W Hall with 70 net The ladies winner was J Pfingst with 70 net, runner up Z Eviston with 75 net. The ball run down continued with B May, D Gittins, S Fahey & D Mortimer with 72 net, followed by R Eacott & A Van Ansem 73 net and G Benstead, T Gerry, W Bird, B Lynch, W Gnech, S Lutter, C Bell, M Titcomb & G Yeomans with 74 net. Pin shots were received by A Van Ansen & J Wilson on 4/13, W Hill & J Wilson received 8/17 while S Lutter received 9/18.
