Golf Notes 3/4/23 – 9/4/23
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 45 players play a stableford competition. The winner was L Blunt with 38 pts, runner up was W Hill with 36 pts. The ball run down went to J Gurney, R Lawrie, E Meagher & D Gees 34 pts and A Gees, D Kuhnemann & D Swift 33 pts. Pin shots were received by C Petrohilos, J Gurney, L Blunt & A McNeil while E Meagher, M Maynard & D Gees received the ladies. The Encouragement Award was received by P Coles while the membership draw jackpotted. Monday the 17th will be a stroke competition
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies played a single stroke/monthly medal competition sponsored by Scenic Rim Trophies. The winner was N Stanfield with 67 net, runner up was J Baulch with 71 net. This week will be sponsored by Anna’s Hair & Beauty playing a single stableford competition. Net week will be sponsored by The Australian Hotel playing a stableford competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by T Cause from Far Outdoors Boonah playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was D Forsyth with 27 pts, runner up C Farnan with 26 pts. The ball run down went to C Shannon, W Gnech & M Gray 25 pts followed by M O’Reilly, L Vandenbrink, T Roebig, R Eacott & W Hall with 24 pts. This week the Sporters will be sponsored by W Wieland & A Stick playing a 4BBB stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored by M Weber from Peak Pool Performance playing a stableford10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by Vanberry Cottage Jam Co & Areleah Chocolates, playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. The winner was M Titcomb with 43 pts, runner up was B Lynch with 41 pts. The ladies winner was S Dean with 36 pts, runner up S Grace with 33 pts ocb. The ball run down went to J Miles, D Mortimer & R Maudsley 38 pts, A Lutter & K Milligan 37 pts, followed by G Cochrane & C Perrem 36 pts and W Martin, & I Pocock with 35 pts.
