Golf Notes 1/5/23 – 7/5/23
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 36 players play a stableford competition. The winner was D Kuhnemann with 38 pts, runner up was B May ocb from T Russell, W Lovatt & R Humphrey with 37 pts. The ball run down continued with D Stanfield 36 pts, D Forsyth 35 pts, followed by R Stinson, J Gurney, C Petrohlis & G Hunt with 34 pts. Pin shots were received by R Humphrey, R Stinson & B May while D Kuhnemann, A Brown & D Wall received the ladies. The membership draw jackpotted, while R Freeman received the Encouragement Award. Next Monday the 15th May will be a 2 Ball Ambrose competition.
Ladies:
This week was sponsored by Scenic Rim Trophies playing a single stroke competition. The winner was A Brown with 77 net, runner up was B Dover with 78 net. This week will be sponsored by Anna’s Hair & Beauty playing a stableford competition. This will be the 3rd round of the Consistency Cup. Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by B Lawrance & B Beasley playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner were G Lutter with 27 pts, runner up was B Brown with 26 pts. The ball run down went to L Blunt, D Stanfield & W Hall 25, followed by D Beazley, M Wyvill & R Burnett with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by D Stanfield on 13, M Wyvill received 17 while G Benstead received 18. The Dugandan Dice winner was D Forsyth in a toss off. This week the Sporters will be sponsored by G Parker & L Blunt playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Saturday:

The ladies winner was S Reid with 38 pts, runner up B Dover with 37 pts. The run down went to J Travotello, D Stanfield & T Roebig 38 pts, G Grimsey, C Wilson & A Lutter 37 pts followed by J McGrath 36 pts and G Benstead & A Bennett 35 pts. Pin shots were received by A Parker & E Meagher on 4/13, W Maudsley & B Dover received 8/17 while A Bennett & J Wilson received 9/18.
