Golf Notes 6/1/23 – 14/1/23

Saturday:

Saturday we played a 2 Ball Ambrose competition, for our opening day, kindly sponsored by D Ryan & A Leary.  The winners were J & D Gurney with 61.5 net, runners up were A Bennett & G Eviston with 63½.  The run down went to W Maudsley & W Gnech with 64.5, J Haigh & R Burnett 65 net, J Miles & C Bell 65.25, R Freeman & D Beazley 65.5, A Heit & L Stokes 65.75, A Hertweck & C Farnan 66 net, followed by P Gerhardt & D Smith 66.25, C & J Wilson 66.5, G Hunt & D Wall 66.75,  J & J Dover and J McGrath & R Maudsley 67 net, L Blunt & M Dickson 67.5 and  B & L Beasley and G Parker & C Gatehouse with 67.75.    Pin shots were received by A Heit & L Edwards on 4/13 and P Gerhardt & E Meagher received 8/17.    

Veterans:

Tomorrow Monday the Veterans return, playing a stableford competition, with an 8 am shot gun start.  

Sporters:

Wednesday the Sporters will be returning playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition kindly sponsored by B Davey & R Stinson.

Saturday:   

This week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition, sponsored by Boonah B P (R & W Maudsley). Next week will be sponsored by Carlton & United Breweries playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition.

Sunday:

Sunday we have 2 small Social Clubs using all the buggies.  Social Play will be available when they have completed their rounds if requiring a buggy.
