Golf Notes 30/3/24 – 7/4/24

Saturday we played a single stableford/monthly mug competition kindly sponsored by Boonah Home Improvements. Thanks to Dick for your sponsorship for the day. The winner and monthly mug winner was W Lovett with 39 pts, runner up was P Rogers with 38 pts followed by S Coonan 37 pts, J West 36 pts and P Eggenhuizen with 35 pts. The run down went to D Tomlinson 36 pts, B Lynch, W Hill & M Titcomb 34 pts followed by B Frieberg, C Shannon, W Gnech, J Gurney, A Leary, T Roebig & G Benstead with 33 pts. Pin shots were received by A Tomlinson & B Freiberg on 4/13, S Grace & P Rogers (hole in 1) on 8/17 while A Leary & D Bass received 9/18.
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 33 players, play a stableford competition. The winner was S Bailey ocb from runner up J Gurney with 37 pts. The ball run down went to B Brown, R Lawrie & B May 36 pts, D Beazley & N Halls 35 pts followed by C Petrohilos, K Sawtell, W Hill & D Wall with 34 pts and N Zahnow 33 pts. Pin shots were received by R Lawrie, C Petrohilos & B May while, D Wall received the ladies. The Members Draw was won by R Humphrey while K Eugarde received the Encouragement Award.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies had 10 players play a single stroke/monthly medal competition. The winner was N Stanfield with 73 net, runner up was H Roebig with 77 net. Pin shots were received by S Grace on 4/13 while B Dover received 8/17. This week will be the 2nd round of the Consistency Cup.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by T Cause from Far Outdoors Boonah playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was D Stanfield with 30 pts, runner up was J McGrath with 29 pts. The run down went to B Brown & N Hooke 26 pts, B Sampson & C Farnan 25 pts, followed by D Beazley, G Benstead & W Gnech 24 pts. Pin shots were received by G Parker on 4, R Maudsley received 8 while S Fahey received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was L Blunt with 5 Kings. This week will be sponsored by W Wieland & A Stick playing a 4BBB stableford, 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by Peak Pool Performance playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday was washed out to the course being flooded. This week will be sponsored by Dewars Honey playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. All players will be teeing off the red markers for this day. Next week will be the All Saints Open Day, playing a 2 ball Ambrose competition. Timesheet is filling fast.
Sunday:
This week we have a Social club using all the buggies. Social play will be available if walking or you have your own buggy. Buggies will be available after the Social Club have finished their round.
