Golf Notes 20/11/23 – 26/11/23

Veterans:

Monday the Veterans didn’t play due to the rain      

Ladies:

This week the ladies had 6 players play a stableford mulligans competition, kindly sponsored by S Grace.  The winner was D Marshall ocb from runner up B Dover with 36 pts ocb.  D Marshall received the pin shot on 8/17 while N Stanfield & H Roebig were in the run down.

Sporters:

Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by K Rhodes playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 + 15 competition. The winner was W Lovett with 29 pts, runner up was T Roebig ocb from R Holland with 27 pts.  The rundown went to J Strutt 26 pts, R Fitzgerald 25 pts and W Hall 24 pts.  Pin shots were received by G Hunt on 4, S Skinner received 8 while S Fahey received 9.  The Dugandan Dice winner was S Fahey with 5 Aces.  This week will be sponsored by B Brown playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition, with the Sporters AGM following presentation.  Next week will be sponsored by G Hunt & T Russell playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.  This will be the Xmas Break Up.

Saturday:   

Saturday be The Boonah Lions Open Day playing a 2 ball Ambrose competition.  The winners were J Browning & B May with 60.75, runners up were R Lawrie & G Hunt with 61.25, followed by D & J Gurney with 63 net and J Waters & G Parker with 63.5.  The Ladies winners was J Pfingst & J Briant with 69.5, while the Social winners were A Maskelyne & I Pocock with 67.25.  The rundown went to B & L Beasley 63.75, K Sawtell & J Beasley and G Benstead & B Gotke 64.25, followed by J McGrath & R Maudsley 65 net, W Maudsley & S Coonan 65.25, D Gittins & P Gerhardt 65.5 and A Leary & G Clark with 65.75.   Pin shots were received by A Parker & E Meagher on 4/13, R Lawrie & J Pfingst received 8/17.   The nearest the pin Drives were won by C Parker & Z Eviston.  This next week will be sponsored by G & Z Eviston, W Gnech & B Sampson playing a single stroke competition, this will be the Monthly Medal Playoff.  Next week will be sponsored by Peak Pool Performance playing a single stableford competition.  This will be the Monthly Mug playoff.   If you have won either a medal or mug during the year you will be in the playoff.

Sunday:

This week we have a small social club using some of the buggies. Social play will be available to play amongst them.   In the afternoon we have a members & families competition for the Greenkeepers Revenge.  Book online.
