Golf Notes 19/6/23 – 25/6/23
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 25 players play a Single Stroke competition. The winner was R Holland ocb from runner up T Russell with 69 net. The ball run down went to J Edwards, B Murphy & S Edwards with 70 net, followed by W Hill 74 net, G Holmes, L Blunt & G Philp 75 net and G Parker, J Trovatello & B Philp 77 net. Pin shot on 8/17 was received by G Philp while J Edwards received 8/17 & J Pritchard received 9/18 for the ladies. R Lawrie received the Encouragement Award. Monday the 3rd will be a single stableford competition.
Ladies:
This week was sponsored by B Dover playing a single stableford competition. The winner was N Stanfield with 38 pts, runner up was H Roebig with 35 pts. The winner was A Lutter with 46 net, runner up was R Freeman ocb from G Parker with 47 net. The rundown continued with G Lutter, G Benstead & L Blunt 48 net and C Farnan with 49 net. Pin shots were received by A Lutter on 4, D Forsyth received 8 while G Benstead received 9. The best gross for the day was G Parker with 55 off the stick.
