Golf Notes 10/10/22 – 16/10/22

Veterans:

Monday the Veterans had 26 players play a single stableford competition.  The winner was W Hill ocb from runner up R Lawrie with 39 pts.  The rundown went to B May 38 pts, T Roebig 36 pts, followed by J Gurney & D Forsyth 35 pts, R Eacott 34 pts and K Rhodes & J Browning 33 pts.  Pin shots were received by J Browning & W Hill.  The Encouragement Award went to A Stick while the members draw jackpotted.  Next week will be a stableford competition.

Ladies:

Wednesday the ladies played a single stableford competition, sponsored by Anna’s Hair & Beauty.  The winner was A Tomlinson with 37 pts, runnner up was A Brown with 33 pts.  The pin shot was received by A Tomlinson.  The Accurate Drive was won by H Roebig.  This week will be sponsored by Sandie Lees Cafe playing a single stableford competition.   Next week will be sponsored by M Zurvas playing a single stableford competition.

Sporters:

Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by R Cuneo from Boonah Jewellery & Gifts playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.  The winner was R Eacott with 28 pts, runner up was K Rhodes with 25 pts.  The rundown went to D Forsyth, L Blunt & G Parker with 24 pts.  Pin shots were received by D Forsyth on 13, W Maudsley received 17 while G Parker received 18.  The Dugandan Dice winner was K Rhodes with 5 Aces.   This week is Pub Day, playing a stableford 1-9 competition.  Next week will be sponsored by Boonah Mitre 10 Hardware playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.

Saturday:   

Saturday we played the Fassifern Old Boys Rugby League Open Day playing a stableford competition.  We thank them for their continued support.  The winner was A Lutter with 41 pts, runner up P Gerhardt 40 pts, B Gotke & W Saunders had 39 pts, followed by C Shannon, T Alchin & G Yeomans 38 pts and T Britton with 36 pts.  The Ladies winner was S McKenzie ocb from runner up H Roebig with 35 pts, followed by J Wilson 33 pts and S Grace 32 pts.  The Social winner was S Moffatt, runner up was R Gilloway followed by S Gillett, N Cobbin, D Holdorf & T Mac.  Pin shots were received by A Lutter on 1/10, J Lynch received 2/11, P Gerhardt received 3/12, Z Eviston & J Grimsey received 4/13, A Parker received 5/14, P McNiven received 6/15, 7/16, 8/17 & 9/18 while K Turner received the ladies on 8/17.   This week will be sponsored by Tony Holland Funerals, playing a 4 ball Ambrose competition.  This will be a 12.30 shot gun start.  Next week will be sponsored by the Boonah Veterans playing a stableford competition.
