Golf Notes 8/5/23 – 14/5/23
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 33 players play a stableford competition. The winner was D Stanfield with 47 pts, runner up was R Humphrey with 39 pts The ball run down went to G Philp & L Edwards 36 pts, W Hill, W Lovett & T Norris 34 pts followed by B May & D Beazley with 33 pts. Pin shots were received P Dautzenberg, L Blunt & K Rhodes while L Edwards & S Kopelke received the ladies. The membership draw jackpotted, while G Sharpe received the Encouragement Award. Monday the 22nd May will be stableford competition. Monday the 29th is the Beaudesert Open Day.
Ladies:

The winner was G Lutter with 29 pts, runner up was G Eviston ocb from W Lovett with 27 pts. The ball run down continued with C Farnan, R Scells, D Forsyth, J Gurney & B Brown with 26 pts followed by B Beasley 25 pts and T Russell & R Stinson with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by S Fahey on 4, W Hall received 8 while B Beasley received 9. This week will be sponsored by Boonah Tyre Power Service playing a single stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by Boonah Jewellery & Gifts playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. The winner was K Sawtell with 69 net, runner up P Eggenhuizen with 70 net ocb. The ladies winner was J Pfingst with 71 net, runner up T Reid Pocock with 72 net ocb. The run down went to S Lutter, W Hill & W Gnech 70 net, M Titcomb, K Milligan A Lutter 71 net, followed by K Turner, J Browning, & H Roebig 72 net and J Barnett, R Eacott, J McGrath & I Pocock with 73 net. Pin shots were received by R Humphrey & E Meagher on 4/13, R Dewar & K Turner received 8/17 while B Gotke & E Meagher received 9/18. This week will be a 4 BBB stroke medley competition, for a club trophy. The next week will be The Fassifern Bushrangers Open Day. This will be a 12.30 shot gun start.
Sunday:
This week we have a Social Club using some of our buggies. You can come out play amongst them. Clubhouse will be open at 7 if requiring a buggy. Ring the club to make a booking or for any further details.
