Golf Notes 19/9/22 – 25/9/22
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 29 players play a 2 Ball Ambrose competition. The winners were J Browning & G Floyd with 63½, runners up were J Gurney & B May with 66 net. The rundown went to C Petroholis & N Halls 66¼, R Lawrie & T Rusell 67½. D Forsyth & G Philp 68 net, followed by D Dann & S Dennis 69 net and R Holland & T Russell 70 net. Pin shots were received by D Dann, C Petroholis & G Sharpe. The members draw jackpotted. Next week will be a stableford competition. Monday the 10th October is the Scenic Rim Day at Canungra.
Wednesday:
This week will be a stableford competition sponsored by Fassifern Pharmacy. Next week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition, sponsored by Scenic Rim Trophies
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by Boonah Eyecare playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was our Veteran of 87 years J Handley with 28 pts, runner up was T Roebig ocb from R Cuneo with 26 pts. The rundown continued with M O’Reilly & W Wieland 25 pts and L Vandenbrink with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by R Maudsley on 4, while B Beasley received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was R Freeman with 5 Kings. This week will be sponsored by B & J Gnech playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 + 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by W Hall & B Sampson playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
This week will be sponsored by Bendigo Bank playing a single stroke/monthly medal competiton. This will be the final round of the Bi Rite Challenge. Next week will be the Kath & Lex Forsyth Memorial sponsored by the Forsyth Family, playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition.
