Golf Notes 5/2/24 – 11/2/24
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 37 players, play a single stableford competition. The Mens winner was J Picton with 44 pts, runner up was D Mortimer with 43 pts. The run down went to G Hunt & R Stinson 38 pts, W Maudsley 37 pts, R Lawrie 34 pts followed by G Sharp, M Gray, R Humphrey & M Gnech with 33 pts. The Ladies winner was D Wall with 34 pts, runner up was K Cook with 32 pts. Pin shots were received by R Philp & D Wall on 4/13, G Parker & D Wall received 8/17 while W Maudsley received 9/18. The Encouragement Award was awarded to V Sampson. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Ladies:
The Ladies started their year off with a single stableford competition for a club trophy. The winner was S Grace with 31 pts, runner up was D Marshall with 29 pts. Sue won the pin shot on 4/13 while Deb won the 8/17 pin shot. This week will be a stableford competition sponsored by Hair Shine.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by R Humphrey playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was L Blunt ocb from runner up T Henderson with 28 pts. The run down went to B Sampson & G Hunt 27 pts, W Gnech 26 pts, followed by K Rhodes, R Humphrey & B Beasley with 25 pts and D Forsyth & L Vandenbrink with 24 pts. Pins shots were received by G Hunt on 4, K Rhodes received 8 while S Fahey received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was R Holland with 5 10’s. This week will be sponsored by N Hooke playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will sponsored by M O’Reilly playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:

The A Grade winner was W Gnech with 37 pts, runner up was W Maudsley with 36 pts. B Grade winner was S Bennett with 41 pts, runner up was M Herrington with 36 pts. C Grade winner was A Noga with 41 pts, runner up was B Philp with 37 pts. The Ladies winner was S Reid with 42 pts, runner up was J Pfingst ocb with 31 pts. The run down went to P McNiven, W Hill, A Moore, R Partridge & A Gill 35 pts, followed by G Eviston, S Fahey, C Shannon D Mortimer & G Grimsey with 34 pts. Pin shots were received by M Titcomb on 1/10, S Lutter on 2/11, R Partridge & S Reid received 3/12, D Wall & D Bass received 4/13 (Congratulations to Don having a hole in 1), A Heit received 5/14, J Pfingst received 6/15, D Ryan received 7/16, V Bird & W Hill received 8/17 while J Grimsey received 9/18. Sunday we have a small Social Club using some of the buggies. Social Play will be available to play amongst them. Some buggies will be available, but ring the club to book so you won’t be disappointed.
