Golf Notes 16/10/23 – 22/10/23
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 35 players, play a single Stableford competition. The winner was D Forsyth with 38 pts, runner up was T Henderson with 37 pts. The ball run down went to R Lawrie 36 pts, W Hill, B Philp & W Wieland 35 pts, followed by J Browning, S Edwards, B Sampson & G Philp with 34 pts. Pin shots were received D Dann & A Swift while J Steinke received the ladies. The Encouragement Award was awarded to P Dautzenberg. Next week will be a single stableford competition.
Ladies:

Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters played the annual Pub Day playing a back 9 hole competition. The winner was P Rabbitt ocb from runner up S Jewell with 22 pts. The rundown went to C Deacon & L Blunt with 21 pts, G Parker 20 pts, followed by P Lewis, M Gray, C Shannon, P Gutzke, S Piva, B Brown D Beazley, J Strutt & R Eacott with 19 pts and W Lovettt & L Vandenbrink with 18 pts. Pin shots were received by S Jewell on 13, A Tomlinson received 17 while A Gill received 18. The Dugandan Dice winner was S Jewell with 5 Aces.
