Golf Notes 17/10/22 – 23/10/22

Veterans:

Monday the Veterans had 26 players play a single stableford competition.  The winner was K Rhodes with 43 pts, runner up B May with 39 pts.  The rundown went to T Norris 37 pts, R Fitzgerald 36 pts followed by T Roebig, G Eviston & G Floyd 35 pts and R Humphrey & G Philp 34 pts.  Pin shots were received by R Humphrey, J Browning & G Philp, while A Brown received the ladies.  The Encouragement Award went to D Gittins while the members draw jackpotted.  The Vets tomorrow has been cancelled. Next week will be a 4 BBB stableford competition.

Ladies:

Sporters:

Wednesday the Sporters played their annual Pub Day, playing a stableford 1-9 competition.  The Pub winners were The Royal Hotel Kalbar with 108 pts, runners up were The Commercial Hotel with 107 pts.  The winner was L Vandenbrink with 22 pts, runner up was B Strybos with 20 pts ocb.  The rundown went to L Blunt 20 pts, B Beasley & J McGrath 19 pts followed by R Maudsley, P Lewis, G Lutter & P Rabbitt 18 pts.  Pin shots were received by A Gill on 4, W Lovatt received 8 while M Bennett received 9.  The Dugandan Dice winner was G Parker with 5 Jacks.   This week will be sponsored by Boonah Mitre 10 Hardware playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.  Next week will be sponsored by K Rhodes playing a staleford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
