Golf Notes 2/12/24 – 8/12/24

Veterans:

Monday the Veterans was washed out due to the course being flooded.

Ladies:

The Ladies are playing a summer competition now teeing off at 7.30 on a Wednesday.

Sporters: 

Wednesday the Sporters had 37 players play a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition, kindly sponsored by M Wyvill & P Eggenhuizen.   The winner was M Titcomb with 29 pts, runner up was J Strutt with 25 pts.  The run down went to D Forsyth & S Fahey with 24 pts.  Pin shots were received by R Burnett on 4, G Eviston received 8 while W Lovett received 9.  The Dugandan Dice winner was B Davey.  This week will be sponsored by S Lutter, M O’Reilly, C Shannon, N Hooke & C Farnan for the Graham Lou Lutter Memorial, playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.

Saturday:   

Saturday we played a single stroke/monthly medal play off kindly sponsored by G & Z Eviston, W Gnech & B Sampson.  Thanks for your continued support.  The Overall Winner was B Beasley with 66 net.  The Mens Winner was J West with 68 net, runner up was M Manning with 69 net.  The Ladies Winner was S McKenzie with 70 net, runner up was T Reid Pocock with 74 net.  The run down went to C Jorgensen, J Picton, M Dickson & W Martin 70 net, P Corta, A Bennett, R Higgs, R Lawrie & B Heaton 72 net, followed by J Grimsey, P Rabbitt & D Beazely 73 net, K Sawtell, A Gill, J McGrath, G Eviston, S Edwards & B Stieler 74 net and J Gurney, K Wilson, W Maudsley, S Evetts, B Dover, W Gnech & D Bass with 75 net.  Pin Shots were received by B Beasley & B Dover on 4/13, R Lawrie & S McKenzie received 8/17 while J West & L Edwards received 9/18.  The 2024 Medal of Medals winners were R Higgs & T Reid Pocock.  This week will be sponsored by Peak Pool Performance playing a single stableford/monthly mug play off.  If you have won a monthly mug you are in the running for the play off.

Sunday:

Sunday, we have a small Social Club using some of our buggies.  Social Play will be available to play amongst them, though we ask you to ring and book your buggy to avoid disappointment if requiring one.
