Golf Notes 10/2/25 – 16/2/25
Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 36 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was R Lawrie with 40 pts, runner up was W Gnech with 39 pts. The rundown went to C Petrohilos 38 pts, B Harding & K Brown 37 pts, followed by W Halls 36 pts, D Gittins & J Picton 35 pts and P Duncan, M Gray & K Rhodes with 34 pts. Pin Shots were received by K Rhodes, K Brown & S Dennis while the ladies were received by L Edwards. The Members Draw was won by B Sampson.
Ladies:
The Ladies played a single stableford competition sponsored by T Stinson. The winner was N Stanfield with 35 pts, runner up was D Marshall with 32 pts. The run down went to T Stinson 30 pts, L Edwards 28 pts & R Picton with 27 pts. Pin shots were received by R Picton on 4/13 while D Marshall won 8/17. This week will be sponsored by K Cook playing a 4BBB stableford competition. Next week will be sponsored by R Fitzpatrick playing a single stableford competition. This will be an Invitational Day for anyone with an AGU handicap wishing to play an 18 hole competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by N Hooke playing a single stroke competition. The winner was R Freeman with 45 net, runner up was T Henderson with46 net. The run down went to R Cuneo & N Hooke 46 net, followed by R Stinson, J Picton & R Maudsley 48 net & B Beasley with 49 net. Pin shots were received by B Beasley on 4, T Henderson received 8, while S Fahey received 9. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was S Edwards. B Beasley won the best gross for the day with 52 off the stick. This week will be sponsored by M O’Reilly playing a stableford competition.
