Superintendent’s Report

To all members, guests and committee members, here is just another follow up to my first report in regards to the golf course conditions and ongoing works to improve the playability of the golf course.

I’d like to start off with thanking all the volunteers for ev

erything they have helped out with on the course, the course wouldn’t be in the shape it is without your help.

The course is starting to dry out nicely with only a certain few areas that still have ropes in place to either encourage the grass to grow back or for the water that is still in those areas to dry out. There have been a few jobs I have been able to complete in and around the wet weather we had and the few frosts we had, starting with edging all greens and spraying out the encroachment this will be an ongoing process over the next 4 weeks and will be added into a monthly schedule. Fertilizing of greens as per the monthly schedule was complete and a fungicide application was also completed. I have started to top up the bunkers with new sand and re level all the bases this will be an ongoing process as well, and will help the bunkers be more playable.

With club Championships being rescheduled for July and August,

I will do my best to have the tees, greens, and fairways in the best possible condition for this time of year and hopefully everyone can get out and enjoy the course also.

Again if you see me out on the course I would be more than happy to answer any questions otherwise my email address is

Thank you all again.
