Veterans
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner with 43 pts was G. Henderson, runner up was T. Lynch with 39 pts. Next best were V. Riley & K. Cook with 37 pts, J. Arthur 36 pts, followed by A. Featherstone with 34 pts. Nearest the pins were received by C. Shannon on 4/13, B. Bennett received 8/17 and K. Cook received the ladies on 8/17. The Encouragement Award went to R. Featherstone. The membership draw was won by Vic Riley.
Wednesday Sporters
Last week the sporters didn’t play due to the rain. Today is sponsored by AIS Insurance Brokers, playing a 2 ball Ambrose 10-18 + 7-9. Next week will be sponsored by Fassifern Quality Butchers playing a stroke competition. A reminder on Sunday 22nd July there will be a Fun Day playing a 2 – 3 team Ambrose. This will be a 9 hole Shotgun start at 1.15. A timesheet is out now or you can come and register before 1pm on the day.
Friendly Fridays
No friendly Fridays due to the rain. Tee off time is now 2.30. Please feel free to come along and enjoy a great afternoon, friendly atmosphere and even a drink before an evening meal.

Saturday we played the Beasley Bash which was a Monthly Mug sponsored by the Boys from Boonah Panel & Paint. The winner on a count back was a visitor M. Ballin from runner up T. Moller with 39 pts. The boys supplied prizes to N. Dieckmann with 37 pts, P. Ledlie & D. Mortimer with 36 pts and M. Dickson & R. Webster with 35 pts. The rundown went to R. Eacott, C. Shannon, G. Parker & A. Hertweck all with 34 pts. Nearest the pins were on all holes and received by P. Ledlie 1/10, 2/11 B. May, 3/12 B. Gotke, 4/13 J. McGrath the ladies on 4/13 was received by A. Brown, 5/14 D. Mortimer, 6/15 T. Moller, 7/16 B. May, 8/17 was received by T. Moller & 9/18 was received by E. Ryan. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently held by T. Moller. The ladies winner was A. Brown with 34 pts, runner up was D. Wall with 32 pts, followed by K. Cook with 29 pts.

This will be a 2 ball Amborse competition with a limited timeslot in the morning, and a Shotgun start at 12 pm for the afternoon timeslots.
