Wednesday Sporters
Last week Elwyn Newlove and Murray O’Reilly held a signle stroke 1-9 event for their trophy day, the winner being Gary Searle with 32 nett and the runner up was Lou Vandenbrink having a count back of 36 nett following in the rundown were J Potter, G Sippel, F Johnson, M Matthews and L Roberts each having 36 nett. G Sippel had the best Gross, 39. The NTP on number 4 was received by G Searle, number 8 and 9 were each received by F Johnson. This week we play a single Stableford 10-18+7-9 event for Geoff Parkers trophy day and the following week we play a single Stableford 1-9+16-18 event for Boonah Tyre Service. See ya all then!
Friendly Fridays
The Friday Friendly crew had 11 players playing a single Stroke 1-9 and the winner for the afternoon was Rob Brooks having 34 nett and the runner up was Vern Wilson having 35 nett following in the rundown were L Brasington with 36 nett, C Greet with 37 nett 17 and G Henderson finished up with 38 nett.Tee off time is 2.30pm, bring a friend anyone welcome to play.
Saturday
Last Saturday seen the Boonah Lions hold their Open Day playing a single Stableford event the overall winner for the day was Greg Kitchen having 42 points. The mens A Grade winner was Geoff Parker on a count back of 38 points and the runner up was Warren Maudsley having 38 points also, the mens B Grade winner was Peter Dadds having 38 points and the runner up was Dave Mortimer having 37 points, the mens C Grade winner was Dick Forsyth having 39 points and the runner up was Ray Humphrey having 38 points. In the rundown were W Gnech, R Eacott and K Eugarde each having 37 points, B May had 36 points and completing the mens rundown on 35 points each were N Toohey, P King, S Bennet, P Ledlie and V Riley. The ladies winner for the day was Sonia Reid having 36 points, the runner up on a count back of 33 points was Dot Wall followed by Seren McKenzie also having 33 points. The Social winner was Warren Lutter and the runner up was Greg Roberts. NTP’s were placed on every hole, 1/10: W Lutter, 2/11: J Stenzel, 3/12: A Bennett, mens 4/13: G Parker, 5/14: B May, 6/15: B May, 7/16: S Mckenzie, 8/17: P Dadds and 9/18: J Worley. This week we play a single stroke event for the club trophy day and the following week is the U.G.L.Y Bartender Golf Day, PLEASE HELP Kellie raise money for Leukaemia, there will be two drinks stations out on course, BBQ for all players and please feel free to bring along partners and family for a BBQ at the end of the day also.
Chookies
Chookies tee off before 7am or after 8am we have two social groups out for the morning or take advantage of our cheap Sunday afternoon deal, must call to book.
