Veterans
Last Monday the Veterans played a Stableford event. The winner with 41 pts was R. Brooks, runner up P. Sheffield with 39 pts. The run down went to P. Cooper & R. Parnell with 37 pts, K. Chivers, M. Cufi & A. Featherstone 35pts, followed by J. Arthur, T. Lynch & E. Newlove 34 pts. The ntp’s were received by B. Hall on 4/13, T. Lynch received 8/17 while the ladies went to K. Cook. The Encouragement Award went to R. Featherstone.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday the Sporters played a Stableford10-18 + 1,5 & 6 sponsored by Lou Vandenbrink . The winner with 26 pts was R. Cuneo on a count back from runner up R. Scells, B. Brown and A. Fahey also with 26 pts. The run down continued with M. Crowther, A. Stick & W. Gnech all with 25 pts, followed by R. Brooks and B. Hutchinson with 24 pts. Nearest the pins were received by A. Featherstone on 13, A. Skinner on 17, while 18 was received by G. Searle. This week is being sponsored Lou Vandenbrink playing a Stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. This week will be a 4BBB Stableford competition sponsored by Alan Stick and Wayne Wieland playing 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The next week is Anzac Day playing an 18 hole Stableford competition sponsored by Hal Gwynne. It will be 1.15 Shotgun Start and the Timesheet is out now at the club.
Friendly Fridays
We had 10 play a stroke 1 – 9 competition for Friendly Friday. The winner was B. Jones with 30 net, runner up A. Featherstone on a count back from T. Lynch both had 31 net, the next best was A. Henderson with 34 net. Come along and play this Friday for pre Championship practice for only $2.
Saturday

Featherstone 39 pts, T. Domjahn, W. Lutter & K. Dover all with 38 pts, followed by J. Handley, B. May, W. Jackson, G. Ball, J. Browning and M. Gnech all with 37 pts, and D. Yeates, A. Gill & N. Deickamnn with 36 pts. Ntps on all holes were also sponsored by Trevor and Vic and were received by G. Parker 1/10, 2/11 W. Lutter, 3/12 J. Spoto, 4/13 A. Featherstone, the ladies was received by A. Brown, 5/14 J. Browning, 6/15 J. Spoto, 7/16 J. Browning, 8/17 was received by J. Comp, the ladies was received by A. Brown, while 9/18 was received by N. Toohey. The ladies winner was D. Wall with 33 pts, runner up K. Turner on a count back with 31 pts. The Accurate Drive was won by M. Simpson. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently being held by Simon Fahey with 1.40 metres. This week the Championships start. If you are playing in the Championships it will cost you $35 up front, or you can just pay $10 to play in the daily competitions. Timesheets are out.
