Veterans: The Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was G Philp with 39 pts, runner up N Hooke with 37 pts. The run down went to G Hunt 34 pts, D Forsyth 33 pts, followed by C Philp & E Meagher 31 pts and M Kuhnemann 30 pts. Pin shots were received by G Philp & D Forsyth while E Meagher received the ladies. The Encouragement Award went to L Rhodes, while the Membership Draw jackpotted. No competition tomorrow due to working on the greens. The Veterans will play a 2 Ball Ambrose competition on Tuesday. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Ladies: Fourteen players teed off for Margaret Kuhnemanns trophy and the first round of the consistency cup. The winner was Di Kuhnemann on a count back from Ellen Meagher both having 35 points. Other scores were Juleen Sippel 31, Vicki Bird and Kris Cook both on 29, Jo McAntee on 27, NIcki Mulligan 26, Barb Hamilton & Jan Baulch 22, M. Maynard and Margaret Kuhnemann on 20 and Jan Edwards 16. Ellen got the pin on No. 4 and Di the pin on No 8. The money line went to Margaret. The draw till the end of the month is 7.45 for hit off at 8.00. We play for Linda Hookes trophy this week. We are sorry to see Linda go. We will miss her very much. Birdie.
Sporters: Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by W Gnech playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was W Hall with 46 net, runner up M Hassan with 47 net ocb from J McGrath.
