Wednesday the sporters resumed with a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition sponsored by B Davey. The winner was M Hassan with 30 pts, runner up D Forsyth 28 pts. The ball run down went to K Kirgis & B Davey 27 pts, M O’Reilly & L Blunt 26 pts followed by J Handley 25 pts and J McGrath, G Lutter & R Stinson 24 pts. Pin Shots were received by G Parker on 4, M O’Reilly received 8 while G Lutter received 9. The Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was won by J McGrath. This week will be sponsored by J Maynard playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be the John Allen Memorial sponsored by R Scells playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Friendly Fridays had 19 players tee off for a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was K Reinholdsson with 24 pts, runner up A Stick with 22 pts, followed by M Crowther with 20 pts. The run down went to J Nunan, B King & V Riley 18 pts. The pin shot was received by S Riley while W Martin received the NAGA.
Saturday we played a 2 Ball Ambrose competition for The Scenic Rim Aqua Fitness Centre Open Day. The winners were K Wilson & K Kirgis with 60½, runners up were A Heit & J Wallace 61¾, followed by J Lynch & A Heit with 63¾. The run down went to K & C Wilson 64½, B Freiberg & S Bennet 64¾, A Leary & D Ryan 65¼, J Strutt & R Webster and B Davey & D Gittins 65¾, M Gnech & G Philp 66 net, followed by P Dadds & M Sullivan 66¼, D Mortimer & P Manitta 66½, K Sawtell & B Beasley 67¼ and W Jackson & A Bennett 67½. The non golfers winners were B King & M Turnbull while J & T Dover received the NAGA. Pin shots were received by T Stanford & D Kuhnemann on 4/13, D Ryan & J McAntee received 8/17 while J McAntee received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf currently held by M Dickson with 1.3m. The Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery and currently held by K Turner with 3.6m. Sunday
We have the Broncos Social Club teeing off at 7.45. If wanting a game you will be able to play but no buggies will be available until they have finished their round. Don’t forget Putt Putt will be on every Sunday in January from 10 to 4 and we have the Chook Run making a comeback on the 28th January.
