Tuesday Treasurers
Tuesday Treasurers are played on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Open to anyone with a Golflink number. Tuesdays’ winner was B Daw with 39 pts, runner up D Gittins with 37 pts ocb from M Hassan, followed by C Petrohlios ocb from B May with 36 pts. Pin Shots were received by K Rhodes on 4 while M Hassan received 8. The money pin jackpotted while W Martin received the NAGA.
Ladies
Today the ladies played a stroke/monthly medal competition sponsored by Glens Diner. This was the 5th round of the WGQ Brooch. The winner was M Maynard with 70 net, runner up M Kuhnemann 76 net. Margaret also received the putting competition with 31 putts. Pin shots were received by J McAntee on 4/13 while M Maynard received 8/17. See you all next week on the tee.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters played the Wally Woolgar Memorial sponsored by his family. The winner was M Hassan with 27 pts, runner up R Fitzgerald with 26 pts. The run down went to R Scells, G Parker & A Stick 25 pts and R Wilkie & W Hall 24 pts. Pin shots were received by G Parker on 13, M Hassan received 17 while G Parker received 18. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by G Parker. This week will be the Glenn Sippel Memorial playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 141 & 15. Next week is sponsored by K Rhodes playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays 19 players tee off playing a stableford competition. The winner was B May with 24 pts, runner up K Sawtell ocb from M Hassan with 23 pts. The rundown went to S Edwards & K Reinholdsson 22 pts, L Edwards, G Henderson & J Handley 20 pts followed by C Shannon & M Weber 18 pts. S Edwards received the pin shot while D May received by NAGA.
Saturday
Saturday we played the 1st round of the Darvall Cup sponsored by S & L Edwards, playing a stroke/monthly medal competition. The winner & monthly medal winner was B Brown with 66 net, runner up T Britton ocb with 69 net. The run down went to G Ball & D Gittins 69 net, R Philp 70 net, V Riley, E Ryan, S O’Connell & R Brooks 71 net, followed by A Heit & G Lutter 72 net, followed by N Merchant 74 net and B Gotke, W Hall, J Buganey, M O’Reilly, J Comp, D Ryan, S Francis and J Shine 75 net. The ladies winner was K Cook with 70 net, runner up L Edwards 74 net followed by D Wall 76 net. Pin shots were received S Francis (with a hole in 1 & M Tress received 4/13, D Forsyth & L Hooke received 8/17 while A Hertweck received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and currently held by A Heit with 85cm. The Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery and currently held by G Eviston with 2.68 m. Sunday
Sunday we played the 2nd round of the Darvall Cup sponsored by T & M Weatherhead. The winner was B Gotke ocb from runner up V Riley with 67 net. The ladies winner was L Edwards with 69 net, runner up A Leary ocb with 74 net. The run down went to B Brown 69 net, G Lutter 70 net, T Weatherhead & D Forsyth 71 net, followed by J Handley 72 net, K Cook, A Brown, J Comp, J Browning & M Simpson 74 net and D Wall & M Tress 75 net. B Gotke received all pinshots 4/13, 8/17 & 9/18 while A Brown received 4/13 & 8/17. The winners of the Darvall Cup for 2017 were B Brown & K Cook on a play off from L Edwards. Sunday we have a social club using all the buggies if wanting a social round of golf with a buggy you will have to wait until they have finished their round somewhere around noon.
