Veterans
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner with 67 net was G Henderson, runner up V Christensen with 68 net. The run down went to V Wilson & W Martin 69 net, P Cooper, R Fitzgerald & R Parnell 71 net, followed by J Potter 72 net and A Jackson 74 net. Pin shots were received by B Brown on 4/13 while A Jackson & A Brown received 8/17. The Encouragement Award was received by J Arthur.
Ladies
Wednesday the ladies played a stableford competition sponsored by M Tress. The winner was A Brown with 38 pts, runner up was L Edwards with 36 pts. Pin shots were received by L Edwards on 4/13 while A Brown received 8/17. Thanks to the Australian Hotel for your continued sponsorship. This week will be a club trophy with our AGM to follow at 1 pm. Next week will a fun day for a club trophy.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters played a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 sponsored by K Rhodes. The winner was D Webster with 28 pts ocb from runner up L Vandenbrink, R Fitzgerald & R Scells. The run down continued with R Brooks & W Hall 27 pts, E Newlove 26 pts and M Maudsley, R Cuneo, J Handley & R Maudlsey 25 pts. Pin shots were received by G Pareker on 13, 17 was received by R Maudlsey while A Skinner received 18. The Dice winner sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was won by L Vandenbrink. This week will be sponsored by R Brooks & M Crowther playing a stroke & putting competition on 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be the 1st round of the championships sponsored by D Webster playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Sporters AGM & Christmas break up will be held on December 7th.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 23 players tee off, playing a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was S Riley with 26 pts, runner up J Handley ocb from L Hooke & R Brooks with 23 pts. The run down continued with followed J Nunan & M Hassan 22 pts, R Fitzgerald 21 pts followed by B Brown, C Shannon & D Ryan 20 pts, D May 19 pts and V Christensen 18 pts. The pinshot were received by J Handley & J Nunan while the Encouragement Award was received by P King.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by FIS Insurance playing a 4 Ball Ambrose competition. The winners were J Shine, K Eugarde, M Tress & J McAntee with 56 net, runners up were P Manitta, D Mortimer, G Philp & G Eviston 57&5/8ths, followed by A Bennett, W Jackson, B & A Brown with 58&1/8th. The non golfers best were B Lacoste, T Stanford, A Maynard & I Woodward with 60 net, followed by R Humphrey, B Stewart, T Sauer & G Walsh with 67 net and C Jorgensen, J Barrett, K Noe & Scott with 69 net. Ntps were on all holes and received by A Smith on 1/10, 2/11 was reeived by L Blunt, 3/12 was received by P Dadds, V Christensen & A Brown received 4/13, F Johnson received 5/14 while C Perrem received 6/15, K Eugarde received 7/16, W Hall & A Brown received 8/17 and G Eviston received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and currently held by G Parker with 1.15m, while the Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery and currently held by D Forsyth with 4.89m.
