Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Mitre 10 playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was G Parker ocb from runner up D Forsyth also ocb from W Hall & B Sampson with 26 pts. The pins shot draws were won by R Scells, R Stinson & W Hall. G Parker had an Eagle on the 15th. B Davey won the Dugandan Dice. This week will be a club trophy playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week you will be only be allowed to play in the morning as the course is booked out in the afternoon. Sporters resume on 6th January with a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition sponsored by B Davey & R Stinson.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by Peak Pool Performance playing a single stableford/monthly mug play off. The winner was J Grimsey ocb from runner up L Blunt with 38 pts. The Ladies winner was K Turner with 32 pts, runner up A Tomlinson with 29 pts. The ball run down went to D Mortimer 37 pts, B King 36 pts, A Stick & B Davey 35 pts, T Grimshaw, H Perrem & B May (Cock of the Walk winner) 34 pts, followed by S Fahey, K Sawtell & P Manittta 33 pts, G Parker, C Wilson, J Handley, G Philp & M Gnech 32 pts, S Bailey, A Parker, J Gurney & R Patrick 31 pts and G Grimsey & B Beasley 30 pts. This week will be a stableford competition for a club trophy. Next week (Boxing Day) will be a shortened day starting at 10.30 playing a stableford competition also for a Club Trophy.
