Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 21 players tee off for a stableford competition, at Tamborine Golf Club. The winner was D Beazley with 32 pts, runner up was K Rhodes with 31 pts. The ball run down went to G Hunt & T Russell 26 pts, C Petroholis 25 pts and R Holland, D Dann, G Parker & L Blunt 24 pts. Pin shots were received by L Blunt & D Dann while J Sippel received the ladies. The Encouragement Award was received by B Brown. Veterans will resume on Monday 10th January, 2022.
Sporters:
The Sporters was washed out on Wednesday. This week the Sporters will be sponsored by Boonah Mitre 10 playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. This will be the last competition for the year with Sporters AGM and Xmas Drinks to follow play.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by Peak Pool Performance playing a single stableford/monthly mug play off competition. The winner & monthly mug winner was W Martin ocb from runner up B May with 39 pts. The Ladies winner was Z Eviston ocb from runner up A Tomlinson with 34 pts. The ball run down went to B Lawrance & B King 38 pts, followed by B Sampson & N Pellin 37 pts, D Beazley, W Hall, J Lynch & S Bailey 36 pts and G Grimsey & W Maudsley 35 pts. Pin Shots were received by G Clark & S Grace on 4/13, W Maudsley & A Leary received 8/17 while J Browning received 9/18. R Brooks & A Brown received the Accurate Drives. Congratulations to Brenton on having an Eagle on the 16th hole. This week will be sponsored by Tony Hollands Funerals, playing a 4 Ball Ambrose competition. This will be a 12.30 shot gun start. Sunday: No Social Club this week. Social play will be available with new rules to follow as of the 17th December, when the new mandated covid restrictions come in.
