Sporters: Wednesday the Sporters resumed playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition sponsored by B Davey & R Stinson. The winner was D Forsyth wit 28 pts, runner up was N Hooke ocb from M Hassan with 27 pts. The ball run down continued with T Richardson, G Searle & M O”Reilly 26 pts, followed by R Cuneo 25 pts and M Maudsley, D Webster, G Eviston, G Parker, G Lutter & K Wilson 24 pts. Pin shots were received by D Forsyth on 4, while G Eviston received both 8 & 9. R Holland was awarded the NAGA while B Brown won the Dugandan Dice with 5 Jacks. This week will be sponsored by the Maynard Family for the John Maynard trophy, playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be the John Allen Memorial sponsored by R Scells playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Friendly Fridays: The Friendly Fridays had 17 players tee off playing a stroke front 9 competition. The winner was J Handley ocb from runner up R Stinson with 34 net, followed by K Sawtell with 35 net. The run down went to B Lawrance, J McAntee & N Hooke with 36 net. The ntp was won by J McAntee while T Alchin received the NAGA.
Saturday: Saturday was sponsored by D Ryan & A Leary playing a 2 ball Ambrose competition. The winners were P Gerhardt & M Schubring with 63 net, runners up were R Humphrey & R Stinson ocb from D Ryan & A Leary with 64½. The run down went to G & A Parker 65 net, D Mortimer & R Eacott and K Milligan & P Leath 65¼, K Wilson & H Perrem and C Perrem & K Sawtell 65½, C Stumer & L Grimsey and R Higgs & W Martin 66 net, followed by R Brooks & B May and J McGrath & J Handley 66½ and S Bailey & S Grace and A Heit & J Lynch 67¾.
