Ladies
Monthly Medal, WGQ Brooch, International Bowl and putting was the competition last Wednesday and our winner of the Arthur Clive’s Bakehouse trophy was Vicki Bird with a net 71. Runner-up was Ellen Meagher on 73, and the rest of the scores were Anne Brown 75, Margaret Kuhnemann and Linda Hooke 80, Jo McAntee 81, Jan Edwards 82, Meryl Tress 85 and we also had Gillian Buganey, Fran Licciardo and Lesley Rhodes on the course. Ellen won 2 pin shots and Vicki the other. Today is a stableford competition for Gillian Buganey’s trophy and next week is Jo McAntee. We say a big “thank you” to all our sponsors who support ladies golf. Good golfing and may all your putts drop in.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by GJ Gardner Homes playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was J Potter with 45 net, runner up R Stinson ocb with 46 net. The run down went to W Wieland & M Hassan 46 net, followed by M Weber 47 net & G Parker 48 net. The best gross for the day was received by G Parker with 55 off the stick. Pin shots were received by M Hassan on 4, K Rhodes received 8, while J Potter received 9. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by M Weber. This week will be sponsored by Kalbar Community Bank (R Scells) playing a 4BBB stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 13 players tee off playing a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was K Sawtell ocb from runner up P King with 21 pts. The run down went to R Fitzgerald & R Eacott 19 pts. The Pin shot was received by R Fitzgerald, while J Handley received the NAGA.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by Boonah Jewellery & Gifts playing a stroke/monthly medal competition. The winner & monthly medal winner was W Maudsley with 68 net, runner up N Toohey 69 net. The run down went to M Weber & K Sawtell 70 net, A Stick, C Philp & G Parker 71 net, followed by R Eacott, R Humphrey & M Hassan 72 net, B Philp, C Perrem & T Weatherhead 73 net, G Maynard & B Freiberg 74 net, and D Gittins, B Gotke, D Mortimer & R Brooks 75 net and M Gnech & B May 76 net. The ladies winner was D Wall with 70 net, runner up A Brown 72 net. Pin shots were received by P Dadds & A Brown on 4/13, R Brooks & A Brown received 8/17 while M Gnech received 9/18.
