Veterans
Last Monday the Veterans played their Open Day which was a Stableford event. The winner was J. Pearce on a count back from B. Hall who became the runner up, both had 41 pts. The rundown went to T. Lynch 39 pts, R. Parnell 37 pts, B. Broderick and J. Doherty both with 36 pts, followed by N. Casey and M. McGarrity 34 pts, and J. McAllan, R. Clark, D. Johnson and C. Shannon all with 33 pts. The ladies winner was K. Cook with 36 pts, runner up C. Van Daalen with 34 pts. The ntp’s were received by J. Doherty on 4/13, A. Stick on 8/17 & K. Cook received the ladies on 8/17.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday the Sporters played a a stableford event playing 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 sponsored by M. McGarrity. The winner with 26 pts was W. Hall, runner up A. Featherstone with 25 pts. The rundown went to B. Freiberg, G. Searle and J. Browning all with 24 pts. The ntp’s were received by G. Parker on 13, J. Browning 17 while T. Richardson received 18. This week is J. Potters’ trophy playing a Stroke 1-9 +10, 14 & 15. Next week will be Carlton Brewery Day playing a 4BBB Stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. April 25th Anzac Day will be a 1 pm Shotgun Start playing 18 holes of Stableford competition.
Friendly Fridays
We had 14 players playing a Stroke 1-9 competition for Friendly Friday. The winner with 32 net was Simon Fahey, runner up was G. Henderson with 33 net, followed Vic Riley & Bob Jones with 35. Tee Off time is still 3 pm see you all then.
Saturday
Last Saturday was a Monthly Mug sponsored by the Greenkeepers. Thanks goes to Tony, Tim Bill and Jason for supplying a good array of trophies in all grades.
The winner of A Grade was Simon Fahey with 41 pts, runner up G. Parker with 40, W. Maudsley 38 pts, J. Browning, B. May, A. Gill & A. Taylor all with 37 pts. J. Smith also had 42 pts. The B. Grade winner was P. Eggenhuizen with 42 pts (Peter is our Monthly Mug winner for March), runner up was M. Gnech with 40 pts, W. Jackson 37 pts, A. Hertweck & M. Simpson 36 pts, followed by D. Hughes & G. Balharry with 35 pts. C. Grade winner was T. Hutchinson 49 pts, runner up was B. Hutchinson 38 pts, followed B. Bennett 37 pts, V. Riley 36 pts, D. Yeates 35 pts and W. Kitchen & B. Brown with 34 pts. The Junior winner was A. Browning. The ladies winner was K. Cook 36 pts on a count back from S. McKenzie, followed by A. Brown with 35 pts. The boys also sponsored pin shots on all holes received by 1/10 A Taylor, 2/11 A. Hertweck, 3/12 M. Gnech (eagle), 4/13 G. Parker, ladies 4/13 A. Farmers, 5/14 J. Browning, 6/15 A. Gill (eagle), 7/16 G. Saunders, 8/17 Stuart Fahey and 9/18 B. Gotke. This week is The Girls Trophy. Next week will be The Boonah Fishing Club Open Day. Timesheets are our now.
Chookies
There wasn’t any Chookies again on Sunday so it will be held over until next week. This week the Chookies can tee off anytime.
