Veterans: Monday the Veterans had 21 players tee off playing a stroke competition, for the final round of their Championships. The Champion for 2019 is G Hunt with 139 net, runner up T Lynch with 142 net. The daily winner was P Dadds with 69 net, runner up V Christensen with 70 net. The rundown went to D Forsyth, G Holmes & G Hunt 73 net, followed by G Parker, T Lynch & K Kirgis 74 net and M Hassan 75 net. G Parker received the best gross for the day with 81 off the stick. Pin Shots were received by G Hunt & T Lynch. L Hooke received the ladies pin shot. The Encouragement Award was received by R Patrick while the Members Draw was won by J Shine. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Ladies: Thanks to Sandi Lee’s Café who was our sponsor last Wednesday and the winner was Jan Edwards with a net 70. Jan also won the monthly medal and will go into the play off for the medal of medals at the end of the year. Runner up was Vicki Bird 74 and other scores were Juleen Sippel 75, Jo McAntee 76, Meryl Tress 77, Linda Hooke 80, Jill Pfingst, Jan Baulch & Kris Cook 81, Nicki Mulligan 86. Pin shots were Jo and Vicki and Jan B won the money line. This week we play for Laraine Gurnett’s trophy, the Darvall Cup will be played over 36 holes Saturday and Sunday and next week Kris Cook will be our sponsor.
