Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Joe Dover playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner with 27 pts was G. Parker, runner up W. Hall with 25 pts. Nearest the pins were received by G. Parker on 13, A. Skinner17 while G. Eviston received 18. This week will be sponsored by J. Potter playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Friendly Friday
Friday the Friendly Fridays’ had 15 players playing a stroke 10-18 competition teeing off the ladies tees. The winner was R. Brooks with 32 net, runner up A. Featherstone on a count back from S. Fahey with 35 net, followed by V. Wilson 36 net. The pin shot was received by A. Featherstone. Was a Good roll up again so come along and enjoy 9 holes, teeing off at 3 pm……………..See you there.
Saturday
Saturday was the Greenkeepers’ Day, the boys had plenty of prizes on offer again. A big thank you to those who make the day a big success. The winner of the monthly mug was Tony Moller with 41 pts. The A Grade winner was N. Toohey with 40 pts, runner up M. Wagener 37 pts, followed by P. Manitta, A. Heit & E. Ryan all with 36 pts. B. Grade winner G. Ferguson 41 pts, runner up R. Brooks 37 pts, followed by M. Murray 36 pts, D. Patrick 35 pts and G. Philp 33 pts. C. Grade winner was A. Dougan 38 pts, runner up M. Simpson on a count back from L. Judson & S. Buchholz with 36 pts followed by C. Shannon 35 pts. The ladies winner was K. Cook 31 pts, runner up J. Antcliff 29 pts followed by A. Farmers 26 pts. The pin shots were received by G. Parker on 1/10, T. Wiegand 2/11, J. Browning 3/12, N. Toohey 4/13, the ladies K. Turner, 5/14 M. Wagener, 6/15 T. Wiegand with and eagle, 7/16 M. Wagener, 8/17 C. Philp, ladies K. Turner, and 9/18 J. Sunday
There is a social club teeing off at 7 am. Social or Chookies can tee off before 6.30 if walking or after the social club have played their first 9 around 10am, or when the buggies become available, ring the club for further details.
