Monday Boonah Veterans
Last Monday veterans played a single Stableford event and the winner for the day was John Potter having 40 points and the runner up was Robert Brooks having 39 points following in the rundown were M Crowther, E Newlove and A Featherstone each having 38 points, V Wilson had 37 points, C Greet, D Yeates and C Shannon each finished up with 36 points. The NTP on 4/13 was received by K Cook, the ladies NTP on 8/17 was received by M Maynard and the mens NTP on 8/17 was received by R Brooks. Garth Henderson received the encouragement award. Happy Birthdays to Vic Riley, Bryan Hall and Elwyn Newlove, wishing you all well.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday Aaron Gill held a single Stableford 10-18+7-9 event for his trophy day and the winner for the day was Joe Dover having 27 points and the runner up was Hal Gwynne having 26 points. In the rundown were R Scells and S Edwards each having 25 points and G Parker, A Stick and D Forsyth each finished up with 24 points. The NTP on 13 was received by D Forsyth, 8/17 was received by D Mortimer and 9/18 was received by R Cuneo. This week we play a single Stableford 1-9+16-18 event for David Mortimer Tiling and the following week we play for Wayne Wieland and Alan Stick trophy playing a 2 Ball Best Ball Stableford 10-18+7-9. Friendly Fridays
We had 9 for Friday Friendlies last week, the winner for the afternoon was Vern Wilson having 23 points and the runner up was Mark Crowther having 22 points followed by C Greet having 21 points and T Lynch had 18 points. Tee off time is 2.30pm.
Saturday
Last Saturday seen the first round of our club Championships for 2011. Acting Captain Trevor Weatherhead held his trophy day playing a single stroke event with the daily winner being Tim Farmers having 62 Nett and the runner up being W Kitchen with 64 Nett, Jeff Bronwing had the best Gross for the day, 75. The rundown consisted of P Ledlie had 65 Nett, R Cuneo and J McGrath had 66 Nett, B Hoskin, M Gnech, R Humphrey and A Browning each had 69 Nett, J Browning, L Vandenbrink and A Bennett each had 70 Nett, J Worley, J Lynch, T Weatherhead, W Hall, S Edwards and S Synnott each had 71 Nett and completing the rundown with 72 Nett were J Shine, M O’Reilly, B Beasley, J Handley and A Gill. The ladies winner for the day was Kris Cook having a count back of 71 Nett and the runner up was Maureen Maynard having 71 Nett also followed by K Turner with 72 Nett and D Wall had 73 Nett. The Ladies NTP on 4/13 was received by D Wall, the Mens NTP on 4/13 was received by K Eugarde, Ladies NTP on 8/17 was received by S Reid, Mens NTP 8/17 was received by A Smith and 9/18 was received by B Beasley. We also have timesheets out for the 23rd of April as a club trophy playing a single Stableford event and the 30th April will be the Anzac Cup, mens A,B and C Grade and Ladies winner and runner up, sponsored by the Kooralbyn Boyz. Last Sunday was the Vice President, Mike Gnech’s trophy day for the second round of the Club Championships and the mens winner for the day was Sean Synnott having 62 Nett and the runner up was Wayne Jackson with 64 Nett following in the rundown were R McGrath with 65 Nett, J Browning and B Beasley each had 66 Nett, A Bennett, Simon Fahey, A Hertweck and J Buganey each had 67 Nett, P Manitta, P Ledlie and J Worley each had 68 Nett, A Browning had 69 Nett, I Kemp and T Farmers each had 70 Nett, W Kitchen, P McNiven, R Humphrey, M Christensen and J Potter each had 71 Nett and completing the mens rundown with 72 Nett each were G Philp, G Schmidt and N Toohey. The ladies winner for the day was Linda Edwards with 69 Nett and the runner up was Seren McKenzie with 72 Nett followed by S Reid with 74 Nett and D Kuhnemann had 75 Nett. The Ladies NTP on 4/13 was received by R Vines, the mens NTP on 4/13 was received by M Christensen, the ladies NTP on 8/17 was received by S McKenzie, the mens NTP on 8/17 was received by W Draheim and the NTP on 9/18 was received by G Balharry.
