Wednesday the sporters played a stableford competition sponsored by Lou Vandenbrink playing 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner with 31 pts was G. Sippel, runner up D. Forsyth 26 pts. Nearest the pins were received by J. Browning on 13, Simon Fahey 17, while J. Browning also received 18. This week will be sponsored by D. Forsyth playing a 2 ball Ambrose 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be sponsored by M. O’Reilly playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.
Friendly Friday
Friday there were 8 players playing a stroke 1-9 competition. The winner was M. Leary 29 net, runner up Simon Fahey on a count back from A. Featherstone with 36 net. The pin shot was won by A. Featherstone. Congrats Margot. Make sure you play next week for a friendly 9 holes, teeing off at 3 pm……………..See you there.
Saturday

Saturday was by the Brisbane Boys playing a stableford/monthly mug. The winner of A Grade was T. McCarthy 41 pts, runner up J. Handley 40 pts. The B Grade winner was M. Murray 39 pts runner up G. Knox 37 pts. C. Grade winner and Monthly Mug winner was S. Hughes 43 pts, runner up A/ Stick 41 pts. The ladies winner was D. Wall 38 pts runner up L. Edwards 29 pts. The run down went to G. Parker 39 pts, B. Freiberg 38 pts, M. Grayson 37 pts, followed by T. Wiegand, F. McCartney, J. Comp, & M. O’Reilly and M. savage, A. Hertweck & D. Mortimer all with 35 pts. The ntp’s were received by M. Christensen 2/11, T. Lynch 4/13 the ladies D. Wall, G. Knox received 8/17, while M. Gnech received 9/18. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently held by T. Lynch with 3.6 m. This Saturday is the Ray Chant Memorial sponsored by his family playing a stroke/monthly medal competition.
