Golf Notes 4/4/22 – 10/4/22

Veterans:

Monday the Veterans were washed out.  Next week will be a single stableford competition.

Ladies: 

Wednesday the Ladies played a single stroke/monthy medal competition, sponsored by Scenic Rim Trophies. The winner was L Edwards with 77 net, runner up was B Dover with 78 net.  L Reinholdsson received a ball in the run down.  Pin shots went to Linda & Bernice.   This week will be a stableford competition as well as the 2nd round of the Consistency Cup.   Next week will be a stableford competition sponsored by the Aussie Hotel.

Sporters:

Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by T Cause from Far Outdoors Boonah, playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.  The winner was G Eviston with 24 pts, runner up was M Gray ocb from J McGrath with 23 pts. Pin shots were received by D Forsyth on 4, B Beasley received 8 while G Hunt received 9.  The Dugandan Dice winner was R Maudsley with 4 Aces.  This week will be sponsored W Wieland & A Stick playing a 4BBB stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.  Next week will be sponsored by Peak Pool Performance playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.

Saturday:   

Saturday was sponsored by R Southwell playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition.   The winner & monthly mug winner was J Lynch with 37 pts, runner up G Clarke ocb with 36 pts.  The Ladies winner was K Turner with 34 pts, runner up A Brown with 31 pts. The ball run down went to B Davey, S Lutter & D Mortimer with 36 pts, G Philp, R Humphrey & M Dickson 35 pts, followed by B Lawrance, G Grimsey, W Gnech, R Maudsley & G Hunt 33 pts and C Wilson, P Gerhardt, A Lutter, J McGrath, J Browning & M Gnech with 32 pts.   Pin Shots were received by K Milligan & D Wall on 4/13, N Toohey & D Wall received 8/17 while G Maynard received 9/18.  The Accurate Drive was won by B Dover. This week will be a a club trophy playing a stableford competition.  Next week will be a stableford competition, sponsored by Brad & Alba.

Sunday: No Social Club this week.    Social play will be available.  The club house will be open from 8 – 3 if wanting a buggy.    Ring the club for any further details.
