Monday the Boonah Veterans played the Ipswich Vets in a stableford 4BBB competition. The winners were T Haslam & M Clem with 50 pts, runners up E Newlove & A Stick with 47 pts. The rundown went to 43 pts. Pins shots were received by R Parnell & R Williams on 4/13 while A Reidez & P Lane received 8/17. The Members Draw was received by J Doherty.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters played the Stan McCullough Memorial sponsored by the Kalbar Community Bank – R. Scells playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was M Maudsley with 29 pts, runner up M Hassan 27 pts, followed by J Handley 25 pts & W Wieland 24 pts. Pin shots were received by M Maudsley on 4, D Forsyth received 8, while N Hooke received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner this week was A Featherstone. This week will be sponsored by D. Woolgar for Wally Woolgars Trophy. Next week will be the Glen Sippel Memorial Trophy playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.
Friendly Fridays
Friendly Fridays’ had 18 golfers tee off playing a stableford competition. The winner was G Eviston with 23 pts, runner up M Crowther with 22 pts, followed by P King, P Cooper & S Riley with 20 pts. The pin shot was received by P King. The Best Gross was received by A Heit with 36 off the stick, while the NAGA was received by W Martin. This week we will be teeing off at 2.45. Be there at 2.30 to have your name down.
Saturday
Saturday was the 1st round of the Darvall Cup sponsored by S & L Edwards playing a stroke/monthly medal competition. The winner was R Eacott with 67 net, runner up B Lawrance 68 net. The run down went to M Bell, J Worley, V Riley & G Eviston 69 net, S Francis & S Bailey 70 net followed by T Britton, A. Hertweck & C Perrem 71 net and A Gill, W Gnech, W Hall, M McGarrity, M Gnech & G Philp 72 net. The ladies winner was D Wall with 69 net, runner up K. Cook 74 net. Pin shots were recieved by S Mudde & L Edwards on 4/13, J Browning & Z Eviston received 8/17, while A Heit received 9/18. The Pro Pin on no 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and current held by S Mudde with 83 cm. The Sugarloaf Bakery Pro Pin on 17 is currently held by J Browning with 1.51m. The ladies winner was R Featherstone 71 net, runner up L Edwards 74 net. Pin shots were received by J Browning & D Wall 4/13, B Lawrance & Z Eviston received 8/17 while J Browning received 9/18. The Darvall Cup winners for 2015 are J Worley & D Wall. Sunday we have a social club teeing off at 7.30 using all the buggies.
