Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by B Brown playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was R Cuneo ocb from runner up V Christensen with 27 pts. The ball run down went to A Parker 26 pts, J Browning, B May & R Scells 25 pts followed by W Hall with 24 pts. Pin Shots were received by B May on 4, M Crowther received 8 while K Rhodes received 9. The Dugandan Dice was received by A Stick. This week will be sponsored by R Wilkie playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 17 players tee off playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was J Handley with 24 pts, runner up R Brooks 22 pts followed by B May 21 pts. The ball run down went to J Sippel 20 pts, P King, M Hassan & J McAntee 19 pts followed by L Hooke & V Christensen 18 pts. The pin shot was received by J McAntee while K Kirgis received the NAGA.
Saturday
Saturday we played a single stableford/monthly mug play off competition. The A Grade winner was G Parker ocb from runner up P King with 38 pts. B Grade winner was N Toohey ocb from runner up A Parker with 39 pts. C Grade winner was J Gillett ocb from runner up M Sullivan with 38 pts. The ladies winner was D Wall with 35 pts, runner up was A Brown with 33 pts. The rundown went to S Bailey, R Cuneo, B Lawrance, K Sawtell & J Handley 38 pts, followed by V Christensen, B King, L Blunt, M Gnech & S Francis 37 pts and M Hassan & W Hall 36 pts. Pin Shots were on all holes. B May received both 1/10 & 2/11, L Blunt received 3/12, J Gurney received both 4/13 & 5/14, B King received 6/15, R Cuneo received 7/16, B Gotke & J McAntee received 8/17 and M Gnech received 9/18. The pro pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and currently held by W Maudsley with 1.71 m. The pro pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery and currently held by A Hertweck with 3.47 m. The Accurate Drive was received by J McAntee. This week will be the Firies Open Day as well as the Closing Day for year. The next 2 weeks will be club trophies playing stableford competitions. The Chook run sponsored by Mechanics in Boonah was won by T Bennett with 25 pts, runner up M Jurgensen with 24 pts followed by J Rides. The pin shot was received by A Bennett.
