Veterans
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner with 42 pts was R Harrison, runner up A Jackson 41 pts. The run down went to L Hooke & B Hall 39 pts, R Parnell, M Hassan & P Cooper 36 pts followed by K Sorenson, J Arthur & V Christensen 35 pts, and S Edwards & C Greet 34 pts. The Encouragement Award was received by J Shine.
Ladies
Wednesday the ladies played a stroke/monthly medal play off sponsored by B Podlich. The winner was J Baulch with 71 net, runner up was L Hooke 72 net. Both pin shots were received by L Edwards. Thanks to the Australian Hotel for your continued sponsorship. This week will be a be stableford competition sponsored by M Tress. Next week will be a club trophy with our AGM to follow at 1 pm.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters played a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition sponsored by L Blunt. The winner was S Edwards with 32 pts, runner up R Stinson with 29 pts. The run down went to M Hassan 27 pts, G Lutter 26 pts, followed by R Brooks & W Martin 25 pts and L Blunt, G Parker, R Fitzgerald & L Vandenbrink 24 pts. Pin shots were received by D Forsyth on 4, 8 was received by A Skinner while S Edwards received 9. The Dice winner sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was won by L Blunt. This week will be sponsored by K Rhodes playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next week will be sponsored by R Brooks & M Crowther playing a 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 stroke & putting competition.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 16 players tee off playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was S Edwards with 26 pts, runner up S Fahey with 25 pts followed by C Greet 24 pts. The run down went to A Leary 23 pts, D Ryan 22 pts, followed by V Riley, R Fitzgerald & P King 20 pts and K Reinholdsson 19 pts. The pinshot were received by S Edwards, while the Encouragement Award was received by J Handley.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by The Vets playing a stroke/monthly medal competition. The winner was B Philp with 66 net, runner up R Humphrey 68 net. The ladies winner was L Edwards ocb from runner up J Baulch with 71 net. Ntps were received by G Parker & D Wall on 4/13, A Bennett & D Wall received 8/17 while D Forsyth received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and currently held by G Parker with 1.15m, while the Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery. B May received the Money Pin. This week will be a 4 Ball Ambrose competition sponsored by FIS Insurance with a 12.30 shot gun start in the afternoon. The afternoon timesheet is almost full so you will have to be quick if wanting to playing. Next week will be The Boonah Firies Open Day playing a stableford competition. This will also be an afternoon 12.30 shot gun start. The following week will be the Monthly Mug sponsored by Boonah Tyrepower.
Sunday
Sunday we held a Thank You to the yearly sponsors day with a BBQ lunch then a shot gun start, playing a 2 Ball Ambrose 9 hole competition. The winners ocb were Z Eviston & D Wall from runners up R Brooks & G Philp.
We have a Social Club teeing off at 7am on Sunday. This will be followed by the Pennant Finals at 11.30. No social play will be available until they have finished their first 9 holes. If wanting a buggy you will have to wait until they have completed their rounds of golf. Ring the club for further details.
