Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 22 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was M Gray with 40 pts, runner up was G Hunt with 37 pts ocb. The ball run went S Dennis & G Parker with 37 pts, C Petroholis & D Beazley 34 pts followed by M Maynard 33 pts and R Stinson 32 pts. Pin shots went to D Forsyth & C Petroholis for the men while M Kuhnemann received the ladies. The Encouragement award went to A Stick, while the members draw jackpotted. Next week will be a stroke competition.
Ladies:
The Ladies started their 18 hole competition on Wednesday playing a stableford competition for a club trophy. The winner was B Dover with 34 pts. The pin shot went to L Reinholdsson. This week will be another stableford competition for a club trophy.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by G Hunt & T Russell playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was M Weber with 28 pts, runner up was B Brown ocb from W Maudsley with 26 pts. The ball run down continued with M Gray, A Stick & G Hunt with 25 pts followed by K Rhodes with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by S Fahey, A Lutter & G Hunt. The Dugandan Dice winner was L Vandenbrink with 5 Jacks. This week will be sponsored by N Hooke playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored by M O’Reilly playing a stableford 10-18+ 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stroke/monthly medal competition, sponsored by Boonah Real Estate. This was one of the rounds for the OOM for the Moreton District. We had players from Sandy Gallop, Ipswich, Laidley, Roma, Rosewood, Toowoomba, Kingaroy & Beaudesert come and enjoy playing our course. Just a pity the wind was blowing to make for some tough conditions. The A Grade winner was W Martin with 72 net, runner up was B Heaton with 73 net. B Grade winner & monthly medal winner was A Parker with 71 net, runner up was G Hunt with 73 net. C Grade winner was R Brooks with 75 net, runner up C Bell with 76 net. The Ladies winner was M Kuhnemann ocb from runner up K Turner with 77 net also ocb. The ball run down went to K Milligan, B Daniels & W Hill 74 net, A Bennett, A Lutter, M Herrington & M Manning 75 net followed by N Pellin, K Rhodes, L Blunt, S Francis, P Hourn, N Faulks, B Beasley, C Bell, C Richardson & T Britton 76 net. Pin Shots were received by M Carter & S Grace on 4/13, A Gill & A Brown received 8/17 while A Heit received 9/18. This week will be a stableford/monthly mug competition, sponsored by The Fassifern Guardian. Next week will be sponsored by The Good Times Pub Group playing a 4 Ball Ambrose competition.
