Veterans
The Veterans played a 4BBB stableford competition. The winners were J Pottter & P Cooper with 47 pts, runners up were V Riley & V Wilson with 45 pts. The run down went to T Lynch & J Edwards 44 pts and R Parnell & L Hooke and K Rhodes & G Henderson 43 pts. Pinshots were received by T Lynch on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by M Hassan & J Edwards.
Ladies
The ladies played a Monthly Medal/ stroke & putting competition. This was the 3rd round of WGQ Brooch as well as the 2nd round of International Bowl. The winner was G Buganey with 74 net, runner up A Leary with 77 net. Pin shots were received by A Skinner on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by K Tomlinson. The putting was won by M Maynard with 30 putts. Thanks to the Australian Hotel for their continued support. This Wednesday we will be a stableford competition for L Edwards trophy. Next Wednesday will be another stableford competition for A Browns trophy.
Sporters
Wednesday was sponsored by J McGrath playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner was A Stick with 29 pts, runner up J Potter ocb from K Rhodes with 28 pts. The run down continued with J Gillett 25 pts and R Scells, A Featherstone & M McGarrity 24 pts. Pin shots 13 & 17 were received by J Potter, while S Fahey received 18. The Dice sponsored by Dugandan Hotel was received by H Gwynne. This week will be sponsored by G J Gardner Homes (S Fahey) playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be sponsored Kalbar Community Bank (R Scells) playing a 4BBB stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Friendly Fridays’
Friendly Fridays’ had 18 players tee off playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was R Wilkie with 25 pts, runner up W Martin 21 pts. The run down went to A Leary, L Hooke & J Handley 18 pts. Pin shot was received by P King. The Encouragement Award was received by G Miller. Fridays we will be teeing off at 2.30 until after winter. Please be early to have your name down.
Saturday
No competition on Saturday due to the weather. This week will be a stableford/monthly mug competition sponsored by Fassifern Quality Butchers & Boonah Business Supplies. Next week will be a stroke competition sponsored by Boonah Jewellery & Gifts.
