Monday the Veterans held their Open Day with a stableford competition. The winner was F Brophy with 41 pts, runner up P Cosgrove 38 pts followed by V Christensen 37 pts ocb. The run down went to D Beazley & B Broderick 37 pts, G Noe 36 pts, R Fitzgerald, J Shine & J Potter 35 pts, followed by B Brown, H Hei & M Hassan 34 pts, P Palliser, D Palliser, R Parnell, G Sorrensen, C Johnson, K Reinholdsson & A Stick 33 pts and A Lane, A Featherstone & M Sim 32 pts. The ladies winner was K Cook 35 pts, runner up L Hooke 34 pts followed by J Edwards 33 pts. The rundown went to A Brown & N Zagami 31 pts. Pin Shots were received by A Burns on 4/13 while H Hei & J Edwards received 8/17. B Cooper received the Encouragement Award.
Ladies
Wednesday the ladies played a stableford competition for K Cooks trophy. The winner was L Hooke ocb from runner up L Edwards 34 pts. The run down went to J McAntee & J Baulch 33 pts. Pinshots were received by D Kuhnemann on 4/13 while L Edwards received 8/17. This week will be a stroke/monthly medal competition. This will be the 6th round of the WGQ Brooch. Next week will be a stableford competition for J Baulch’s trophy
Sporters
Wednesday the sporters was sponsored by S Pfeffer playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was J Handley with 28 pts, runner up B May 27 pts. The rundown went to R Maudsley & E Newlove 26 pts followed by N Hooke 25 pts and R Cuneo & M O’Reilly 24 pts. Pin shots were received by M Hassan on 4, D Forsyth received 8 while J Gillett received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was E Newlove. This week will be sponsored by S Bennett playing stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next week will be sponsored by J Handley playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.
Friendly Fridays’
Friendly Fridays’ had 28 players tee off playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was N Hooke with 24 pts, runner up R Fitzgerald with 23 pts followed by K Reinholdsson 21 pts.
