Monday Boonah Veterans
Last Monday the veterans played a single Stableford event and the winner for the day was Bryan Hall having 41 points and the runner up was Jim Arthur having 40 points following in the rundown were M Maynard and R Featherstone each having 39 points, J Shine and K Chivers each had 38 points, D Yeates and P Cooper each had 37 points and V Riley, K Cook, C Shannon and V Wilson each finished up with 36 points each. The NTP on 4/13 was received by C Shannon, Mens 8/17 was also received by C Shannon and the ladies 8/17 was received by K Cook. B Brown received the encouragement award for the day.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday Fassifern Quality Butchers attempted to hold their trophy day for the third time this year and ¾ of the players finished due to rainy weather. The competition held was a single stroke plus putts 10-18, the winner being Jeff Browning having 35 nett and the runner up was Glen Sippel having 36 nett followed by J Potter and T Currie each having 37 nett, A Stick and D Forsyth each finished up with 40 nett. The winner of the putts competition was Glen Sipple on a count back of 13 and the runner up being Jeff Browning also having 13. Jeff Browning also had the best Gross for the day being 36. The NTP on number 13 was received by D Forsyth, number 17 nobody and number 18 was received by J Browning. This week we begin our sporters championships round one playing a single stroke 1-9 event for Kalbar Real Estate and the following week we play the second round of championships, playing a single stroke 10-18 sponsored by R & J Forsyth. Friendly Fridays
Unfortunately Friday frindlies did not play due to the rain. Tee off is 3.00pm, please arrive earlier to put your name in.
Saturday
Last Saturday Robert Worley Richard Eacott and Joey Worley held a single stroke event for their trophy day. The monthly medal playoffs will be played this Saturday due to the bad weather we had last Saturday. The winner for the morning comp as the afternoon field did not play, was Wayne Jackson having 66 nett and the runner up was Geoff Ball having 68 nett following in the rundown were N Toohey, W Draheim, J Stephan and J Worley each having 71 nett and J Harris, S Francis, M Christensen and C Philp each finished up with 72 nett. The ladies winner was Gillian Buganey having 75 nett. The NTP on 4/13 was received by J Harris, 8/17 was received by N Toohey and 9/18 was received by G Ball. This week we play for the Fassifern Guardian trophy playing a single Stableford monthly mug playoffs (and medal playoffs) and the following week will be closing day sponsored by Phil Ward and Fred Johnson. Only two showed for chookies last Sunday so we will carry on into this week. Chookies can tee off any time this Sunday.
